Old Collegians will play their round eight match against Dennington at Davidson Oval on May 18 instead of May 17.
Merrivale has moved its round16 match against Panmure at Merrivale Recreation Reserve to July 27 instead of July 26.
The matches will be the only WDFNL or Hampden league action fans can catch on the respective days, increasing the chances of healthy crowds.
They are the latest initiatives which feature in a landmark 2014 WDFNL fixture.
Timboon Demons will host Nirranda at Timboon Recreation Reserve on Easter Sunday, April 20, for the first time.
Old Collegians and Merrivale will continue their tradition of playing on Good Friday. The April 18 match is at Davidson Oval.
The season starts with a round of matches on Sunday, March 30. The grand final is on September 6.
