Main, a resolute presence for the Kangaroos last season, has joined the Eagles and will take on a co-coaching role with the reserves.
He is one of three Russells Creek footballers headed to Hawkesdale-Macarthur, coached by two-time Creek premiership player Danny Chatfield.
Lively forward Hayden Harradine and big man Paul McDowall are also bound for the Eagles, raising hopes they can improve on their fifth-place finish in 2013.
Chatfield also confirmed forward Charlie Nield, subject to interest from Hampden league clubs during the off-season, had re-signed with the club.
Onballer Dylan Herbertson has taken on an assistant coach role while Matt Morrison, who played three matches last season, is back permanently.
“We had a meeting last night with the committee and it looks pretty healthy numbers-wise,” Chatfield said.
