Mullins set a new record for the one-hour course on Friday night, completing 11 laps of the 150-metre swim and one-kilometre run circuit.
Colac’s Jarron Cole was second and Ballarat’s Ben Fahy third.
Warrnambool distance runner Alison Wilson won the women’s section with nine laps.
Teenager Naticia Varley was second and Karen Lourey third.
James Goss and David Ferguson, competing under the banner Sausage Guts, took out the teams’ event with 10 laps.
Sixty people contested the Lady Bay-based aquathon.
