A 28-YEAR-OLD man will appear in Geelong court this morning after being charged with the attempted murder of a 49-year-old at his Great Ocean Road holiday home.

The man from Geelong/South Australia was arrested on Sunday afternoon and charged with attempted murder and other assault-related offences after an incident at Hordern Vale, east of Lavers Hill, early Sunday morning.
The alleged victim suffered a stab wound to the upper right side of his chest and was flown with what was suspected to be life-threatening injuries to The Alfred hospital in Melbourne.
He was discharged from hospital before noon Sunday.
The charged man was remanded in custody to appear in the Geelong Magistrates Court today.
