Glenn Shalders, 41, of Mortlake Road, Warrnambool, yesterday abandoned his appeal against a three-year jail sentence.
Shalders appeared briefly before the Warrnambool County Court, where Judge Mark Taft struck out the appeal. Shalders was jailed in August this year and must serve a minimum of 18 months before he is eligible for parole.
At the time Shalders pleaded guilty in the Warrnambool Magistrates Court to three counts of intentionally damaging property, two charges of reckless conduct endangering death and single counts of dangerous driving, assaulting and resisting police and breaching an intervention order.
On June 30 this year he crashed into the foyer of the police station at the end of a mobile rampage.
