While thousands sat the English paper on October 30, a group of just three Warrnambool College students were among the last to close the book on exams. Iolande Diamantis, Molly Hoffman and Matthew Bull were relieved after completing the Indonesian exam at 2pm.
“It is such a good feeling after preparing 12 long months for this,” Iolande said.
“I can finally relax.”
At 16, the talented student is looking forward to a gap year where she will focus on learning more languages.
Molly and Matthew, both 17, were excited to be finished.
But both are involved in a Select Entry Accelerated Learning Program and are undertaking a broadened three-year VCE program, which means they will return to school next year.
Matthew said they had spent countless hours studying.
“My priority in the day was study — I was studying every day for over six hours,” he said.
Molly said it was a tough exam to finish with.
She is now looking forward to some spare time — while waiting for the release of VCE results on December 16.
