THIEVES have netted jewellery and cash valued at more than $12,000 in a burglary at Camperdown.

Detective Senior Constable Elissa Smith, of the Warrnambool police crime investigation unit, said a door at a Walls Street home was forced open between noon and 4pm Friday.
“The offender has gained entry to the property and taken large quantity of jewellery, cash and alcohol from a fridge as well as a free-standing computer screen and hard drive,” she said.
“The house was ransacked. Crime scene officers have also attended the property and examined the house.”
