Next month Norton Ford will do its bit for a cancer centre in Warrnambool.
Marcus Norton, proprietor of Norton Ford, said $50 will be donated to Peter’s Project for every vehicle test-driven.
Mr Norton said they had been looking for a community project for some time to throw their support behind and he fully supported the work done for Peter’s Project.
“We strongly believe in what Vicki Jellie is doing,” he said.
“This is the perfect opportunity to get on board.”
People will be able to test drive a range of vehicles in the Ford fleet.
“Obviously we’re hoping to create interest in the sales department, but we won’t be doing the hard sell on the day,” Mr Norton said.
“We’ll be speaking to Rotary clubs to see if there are funds for a sausage sizzle.
“This day is about raising money for Peter’s Project,” Mr Norton said.
The fund-raiser will be held on September 6 at the Civic Green.
