Kevin Bourke, of Woolsthorpe-Heywood Road, appeared in the Warrnambool Magistrates Court for a committal mention. His solicitor said the matters were now resolved and Mr Bourke would plead guilty to one charge.
Office of Public Prosecutions solicitor Raeleene Maxwell handed up a brief of evidence to Magstrate Jonathan Klestadt.
Mr Klestadt gave Mr Bourke a verbal caution and then offered the defendant a chance to enter a plea.
Mr Bourke pleaded guilty to the charge.
The case has been adjourned for a plea hearing in the Warrnambool County Court in the sitting starting on July 29. Mr Bourke was released on bail until that hearing.
