Charles Stewart and Co put 90 and 92 Banyan Street under the hammer and selling agent Nick Adamson said about 50 people attended.
“Both properties were owned by the same vendor,” Mr Adamson said.
“We offered number 90 first.
“Bidding went to $297,000 and the property was sold under the hammer for that amount to a local investor.
“It was a good result.”
Mr Adamson said the auction of number 92 opened with a vendor’s bid of $450,000.
“It was the superior property of the two,” Mr Adamson said.
“There were no further bids, and it was passed in at that price.
“It is now on the open market for $495,000 and we are dealing with a number of interested parties.”
A property in McArthur Street, Camperdown, was passed in on a vendor’s bid of $450,000.
James H. Monk selling agent Kevin Gleeson said 65 people attended the auction of the historic home, which was built in 1929.
