The footage, filmed by Wildman Adventures on the Adelaide River, Northern Territory, shows the pre-historic reptile as it readies itself to attack whatever food the tour guide was hanging over its head.
Found across the wetlands of north Australia, the saltwater crocodile can grow up to a whopping seven metres in length.
They first appeared over 240 million years ago during the Mesozoic Era - the time of the dinosaurs.
This makes them the oldest and largest reptiles on the planet.
With around 68 razor sharp teeth, larger crocs can exert two tonnes of pressure with a single bite and if their teeth break off they grow new ones in their place.
