Rollerskaters, glittering '70s dancers and a surprise performance by Leo Sayer has entertained crowds on Sydney's George Street.

Part of the city's main thoroughfare was closed off for the Disco Picnic, one of several dining events for the city's Open for Lunch initiative.
Punters supplied with blue and pink wigs sat at long tables to dine in the sun, surrounded by glittering disco balls and giant inflatable flowers.
As if that wasn't enough, 1970s icon Leo Sayer put in a brief performance with his hit songs Thunder in My Heart, More Than I Can Say and You Make Me Feel Like Dancing.
The crowd really did feel like dancing, with passing office workers and Christmas shoppers pausing to bop along too.
At one stage a performer in a dress of giant rainbow sequins called out to the crowd in delight: "Summer is back, Sydney!"
The event was designed as a showcase of the city's restaurants and chefs including Luke Mangan, Matt Moran and Anna Polyviou.
