DELWP and EPA Victoria say 'common' blue-green algae to blame for devastation

Carnage: Thousands of fish and 25 cows are dead in the Curdies River, but authorities say it is just a "common" blue-green algae bloom and nothing can be done.

The various government bodies with authority over the Curdies River all say nothing can be done about the catastrophic conditions in the waterway as the bodies continue to mount.
