
South-west residents have been asked to keep an eye out for a distinctive ute that was stolen on Wednesday morning.
Detective Senior Constable Derek Verity, of the Warrnambool Criminal Investigation Unit, said the Ford Ranger ute was taken from Gat Sing Way in Dennington between 11.30pm and 8am.

He said two males, believed to be aged in their 20s with dark hair, were seen in the vehicle by a number of people in Warrnambool and Port Fairy.
"They've been seen driving around by a number of people," Detective Senior Constable Verity said.
In another incident, a $3000 Merida Mauler mountain bike was stolen from a Port Fairy home on December 29.
Detective Senior Constable Verity said the bright orange bike had not been located.
He urged people to remain vigilant and ensure items were secured and doors locked.
