FIREWORKS: Warrnambool breakwater at 9.30pm and midnight.
RACING: Woodford Cup is on at Warrnambool Racecourse. First of eight races at 2.30pm.
LIVE MUSIC: NYE with John Hudson Trio at Hotel Warrnambool. Ticketed event from 8pm with John Hudson Trio from 9.30pm.
KOROIT: Amplitude performing covers at Duke's Commercial Hotel Koroit from 8.30pm.
VINYL: A family-friendly event at Noodledoof beer garden, Koroit. Ice cream, face painting and music by Koroit Record Club, noon to 4pm.
COBDEN: Train rides, food, picnic and mini golf at Cobden's Miniature Railway from 5pm.
PORTLAND: Fireworks at Portland and Heywood with 10pm and midnight displays. Street party in Portland's Bentinck Street.
HAMILTON: Matt Price and DJ Isaiah Silcock performing at The Cally Hamilton, 8pm-1am.
SATURDAY
HAMILTON: Tuddywah performing at The Cally Hamilton, 9.30pm-1am.
SPEEDWAY: Victorian Sprintcar Title at Allansford's Premier Speedway, gates opening at 3pm.
