"I like to go for my shots, and hit winners and aces," Parikshit said.
The Maribyrnong teen will want to summon her best on Wednesday, with the number one seeded 16 and under and women's player, Sienna Mae Opray her next opponent.
Parikshit spent 22 minutes on court in her opening 16 and under singles clash on Tuesday, with opponent Sophie Christie retiring at 1-0.
Seeded third in 16 and under and eighth in the AMT women's fixture, a better tune up awaited Parikshit in her women's match where she breezed past Wilva Chan, 1-6, 1-6.
The results pit Parikshit against Opray in the 16 and under semi final, as well as the women's quarter final on the third day of play.
Ranked fourth in Victoria for her age, Parikshit said she loves playing on grass, with this year's Championships the second time she's competed at Warrnambool.
"It was a great tournament (in 2019); though it was different weather," she said. "It was a lot hotter and the courts were faster."
Parikshit said her goal is to gather experience by playing in higher age brackets.
"I've been playing tournaments since I was six, so I've got some experience," she said.
"Glen Iris, I've won a couple tournaments and had some good memories there, and Hume.
"But I'm starting to play more under-16 and AMT Women's rather than under-14s, just to get more experience."
On Monday Parikshit was ousted from the AMT women's double draw in her opening game.
Partnering with Bridget Heczey, the pair failed to advance following a nail-biting 10-8 loss in the deciding set.
"It was a tough match," Parikshit said.
Parikshit said her whole family had joined her in Warrnambool and were enjoying what the seaside locale had to offer.
"(Monday) we went to the fair, which was fun, and today (Tuesday) we might head to the beach after my matches," she said.
