TWO Melbourne women holidaying in Warrnambool escaped serious injuries after their vehicle flipped onto its roof near Leslie Manor on Monday.
Camperdown police Acting Sergeant Don Camilleri told The Standard a vehicle travelling north-east left Foxhow Road about 6.15pm.
Acting Sergeant Camilleri said all emergency services attended.
"They've run off the road and the car was overturned once onto the roof," he said.
"It crashed through some farm fences and was resting next to an electric fence."
He said the driver, a 33-year-old woman was uninjured but her passenger, a 62-year-old woman was taken to hospital in Ballarat as a precaution and was "quite lucky".
"The occupants were out of the car when police arrived," Acting Sergeant Camilleri said.
Acting Sergeant Camilleri said the cause of the accident was still being investigated but it was likely due to inexperience on country roads.
Acting Sergeant Don Camilleri said it was a timely reminder to stick to the conditions of country roads.
"Country roads are a bit different to city roads so be aware of your surroundings and take care," he said.
