On Boxing Day, the club began its annual Hole-in-One competition next to the Warrnambool Skatepark.
Volunteers will take turns doing four-hour shifts manning the site until the competition concludes on Australia Day. The competition is open daily from 10am-6pm
Club member Joe Baptiste said the money raised from the competition played a vital role in the running of the club.
"It is a huge fundraiser for the club, it's so important to us," Mr Baptiste said.
"It helps fund our wide range of projects."
These include contributions to St Vincent De Paul, support of the Standing Tall project and internationally helping provide clean water to Timor-Leste.
Missing from the Rotary team this year is Ralph Ludeman, who passed away earlier this month. Mr Ludeman had played a key role in competition, carrying out the task of rostering.
