The hay bale competition that put a tiny town on the world stage has returned this year with strong entrants.
Animals, pop culture and Christmas featured heavily in this year's displays, with COVID-based sculptures also proving a sign of the times.

The Taylor family's majestic lion was the overall winner of the competition, now in its 13th year, with passersby in awe as they travel through on the highway.
Mother Maree said the event was great for the community.
"Kids have been jumping on the big lion, they do a big growl and growly faces, it's really cool," she said.
"It's just seeing all that happen, it's just fun. You need to do it, it's a Tarrington thing. It's something other towns around this area just don't do.
"We see busses pull up and so many kids run around and it's so exciting. The traffic booms, it's just so fun. Yesterday there was a kindergarten group out there with Olaf and they were all having such a great time."
