INVESTMENT: Drainage worker Will Sloan and truck driver Nathan Hatherall stand in front of Warrnambool City Council's $511,000 jet/vac vehicle which will help speed-up the cleaning process of drains.

As the anniversary of the city's once-in-50-years flood approaches, a new council truck is helping to clear a backlog of drainage maintenance, freeing staff to respond in the event of heavy rain.
