THE world has been explored through art by St Colman's Parish Primary school students in Mortlake.
Throughout the year, the school's art teacher Stephanie Kennedy worked with all students on a geography project, focusing on the seven continents of the world. They are displayed at St Colman's Church.
The work linked in with their inquiry subject.
The school's deputy principal Rosie O'Connor told The Standard the different continents were represented by different mediums of art. "It has been fantastic for the students to experience the different cultures and works with different types of multimedia of art," she said.
An exhibition opening was held at the church on Monday in conjunction with the school's end of year function.
