A Port Fairy police sergeant says he's disgusted with recent driver behaviour after four motorists were caught driving drunk or on drugs in a 24-hour period.

Sergeant Dave Walkey said the four motorists were intercepted by police on Thursday and Friday nights.
He said a 27-year-old male P-plater from Killarney blew .026 on Thursday.
"His licence was immediately suspended and he will be summonsed to appear at court due to a recent prior drug-driving conviction," the sergeant said.
Then on Friday afternoon, a 19-year-old Koroit male was intercepted and a roadside drug test recorded a positive result for cannabis.
"The male was conveyed to the Port Fairy police station where an oral fluid test was conducted which also provided a positive result," Sergeant Walkley said.
"The sample has been sent away for analysis. The male is expected to receive an infringement notice for drug-driving with a loss of licence of six months when the results are obtained."
Later that evening, a 26-year-old male P-plater from Portland was intercepted and tested positive to cannabis.
"This male is expected to be summonsed to court once the lab results are confirmed," Sergeant Walkey said.
He said the man faced two months off the road due to a prior conviction for drug-driving last year.
He said a 38-year-old female driver was later intercepted after police responded to a vehicle driving erratically in the Warrnambool area on Friday night.
The driver was unlicensed following a period of disqualification and she allegedly tested positive for methamphetamine.
Her vehicle was impounded for 30 days at a cost of $1123 and she will be summonsed to court on multiple driving charges.
"This is a shocking start to the summer period and I am disgusted with the total disregard for the general public's safety by these drivers," Sergeant Walkley said.
"According to recently released statistics a driver has a 300 per cent increased chance of being involved in a collision with cannabis in their system.
"All these drivers will lose their licences for a minimum of six months and it's a reminder that police will be out there testing for drink and drug drivers at any time of day or night."
