Chambers will saddle up his speedy sprinter Lady Solly in a $130,000 restricted race over 1000 metres.
With no metropolitan meeting on Saturday, the Pakenham race day is the principal meeting in Victoria and carries city status with the $300,000 Pakenham Cup the feature race on the nine-race program.
"I've got no idea where the racecourse is so I'll be leaving Warrnambool early to make sure we're in time for the race," Chambers told The Standard.
"I'll be having to check things out on google maps on the way down to see where the racecourse is. It's a big trek down to the other side of Melbourne when you have to contend with traffic over the Westgate Bridge.
"We're going to have to give ourselves plenty of time to get to the track."
Lady Solly resumed from a six-month break scoring an impressive victory at Moonee Valley last month.
Top jockey John Allen, who rode the lightly-raced mare to her Valley win, has the ride on the six-year-old on Saturday.
"Lady Solly has trained on well since her last start win," Chambers said.
"We rounded off her work for this race with a solid 600-metre gallop on the course proper at Warrnambool last Saturday. Lady Solly's drawn barrier one and has Johnny on board. Johnny has won three races on Lady Solly.
"He's got a great understanding of the mare. I'm hoping Johnny has her just travelling behind the leaders and then a gap will open for her."
From her 22 starts Lady Solly has won more than $235,000 in stakemoney.
