The Warrnambool Tri Club had the most juniors it had seen at an event in years at the Killarney triathlon.
During the week there was touch footy, netball, bridge, archery, croquet and bowls on offer.
The South C Dragons also brought newcomers out in their dragon boat to try one of the world's growing team sports.
Warrnambool District Hockey Association's social hockey sixers went off a treat before teams from across the state hit the fields for their first taste of competition in months.
Finally, the Warrnambool Rollers come and try drew such strong numbers that even the organisers were surprised.
