The Dogs scored their first win of the season after mowing down Port Fairy's 120 with ease in round three at Dennington.
Xavier Beks' opening spell did much of the damage.
He bowled Xavier Stevens with the first ball of the match and minutes later also had Shaluka Silva out for a duck caught by Hamish Alexander at short mid-wicket.
Dennington co-vice captain and wicket-keeper Stui Brown had the best view as Beks put on a clinic.
"It was good to get the first win on the board, we've got a pretty young team at the moment and a few blokes away last week so we had a few more ins this week and to put a bowling performance together today was really good," he said.
"Xav started well today, first ball of all the game he sent the off-peg cartwheeling and that's always a good start and then he just bowled his really unplayable balls and we kept the clamps on from there, regularly taking wickets."
Xavier's dad, Terry, was also back in the division one side and bowled a tidy 3-15.
"He came back up from the twos after last week he bowled 1-2 and eight maidens from nine overs," Brown said of the medium-pacer.
"So he's done the same again today pretty much with seven and half overs and 3-15."

Beks, a club stalwart, played division two last season and the first two rounds this season.
Brown was impressed with the effort of teenager Curran O'Donnell who made 25 runs.
"He's slotted in well to that number three position and he's just a stayer," he said.
"He might not be scoring at the rate he thinks he should be but at the end of the day, he set up the whole game for us."
While O'Donnell held down an end, all-rounder Telge Peiris got busy and put together a quick-fire 66 not out from 94 balls.
"He's made 56 and 57 already this year. The boys and I were saying earlier, it's been a while since someone's made three 50s in a season for us let alone three on the trot," Brown said.
"So it's been pretty big for us, especially when you've been a pretty young team and inexperienced - for someone like him to steady the ship for us and be constantly scoring runs is really good."
O'Donnell, Jordan Garner and Hamish Alexander are among the Dogs' young brigade.
Brown said the plan was to keep building momentum heading toward the Christmas break.
