Warrnambool Motorcycle Club's John Maher said the rider had been transported to Melbourne after sustaining injuries to his arms and chest, but remained conscious throughout.
"There was an accident in a motorbike event today at the track and a gentleman has landed heavily," he said.
"He sustained a fractured arm and chest injuries and they're flying him to Melbourne to get him fixed up.
"He's in a stable condition. He was conscious through the whole thing, it's just his arm is in a bit of a bad way after a heavy landing. He's probably just hit the handlebars and taken a bit of a knock.
"It was a twilight meeting today, so we've called the event off with what's happened and thought it was best to just call it a day."
