The former Old Collegians star, who enjoyed a breakout season in 2021, will swap green and gold for navy blue in 2022.
Quinn said she had considered moving back to Koroit - one of her junior clubs - but was convinced to shift to Nirranda after catching up with coach Lisa Arundell and former mentor Steph Townsend for coffee.
"I was looking for a bit of a change, just a bit more competitiveness just for my own development. The plan was to head to Koroit, where I've previously played," Quinn said.
Lisa has actually coached my mum (Sara) when she was playing A grade so I had a chat to mum to see whether Mum thought she'd be a good fit for me and my goals were heading in the same direction as what Lisa was able to provide.

"Lisa flicked me a message and got in quite early so I had a chat to her and Steph just about the direction the club was heading with her as coach and whether it was going to be a good fit for me.
"It went really well there. Lisa has actually coached my mum (Sara) when she was playing A grade so I had a chat to mum to see whether Mum thought she'd be a good fit for me and my goals were heading in the same direction as what Lisa was able to provide. I thought it'd be a perfect fit."
Quinn, 20, said she hoped Arundell could develop her movement in the goal circle.
"It's how to change up my movement if I am getting beaten. I can get a little bit flustered and especially felt that in the last round against Rovers. Their defender was really strong," she said.
"My natural game, she was able to shut down and I didn't know how to bring myself back into it.
"That's something I want to improve on. That's my aim, I hope Lisa will hopefully be able to strengthen that area of my game. Hopefully I can bring in a few extras movements and tricks into my game."
The chance to work in tandem with Townsend, the reigning Wilma Wallace medallist, was one Quinn was relishing.
"I can't wait to learn off her. It'll be an interesting combo as we've both sort of been the dominant goalies in the ring shooting in the high 60s so it'll be interesting to see which way it goes," she said.
IN OTHER NEWS:
"Steph might be the main shooter, or I might be, or it could be half-and-half.
"It'll be very interesting to see which way it goes but I think we've got a lot to learn off each other which will be nice."
Quinn said she had planned to meet teammates this past Wednesday night but would now wait until next week to meet the Blues' squad.
She said Nirranda would kick-start its pre-season on Wednesday in a bid to push for another premiership in 2022.
