
Investigations are underway into a new COVID-19 case identified in the Glenelg Shire overnight.

It is not yet known if the case is linked to the current cluster, Portland District Health said on Wednesday afternoon.
Current active cases in the region are:
- Two active cases in Warrnambool
- Five active cases in Glenelg Shire (one person has returned to the region for the remainder of their isolation period)
A new case was also recorded in Colac-Otway Shire overnight, bringing active cases in the shire to 10.
No new exposure sites were listed in the south-west overnight, however Tier 1 sites in Torquay and Geelong were added late Monday.
Latest data shows new Victorian COVID cases remained below 1000 today, while nine deaths were recorded. There are 14,260 active cases across the state.
The COVID testing clinic at Merri Street Warrnambool is open from 8am to 4pm by appointment only on 5563 1666 and selecting option five.
The Portland District Health testing clinic is open Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm, and Saturday 9am to 12.30pm by phoning 5521 0387 ahead of time.
Warrnambool vaccination centre closes Mondays
The South West Healthcare Vaccination Centre at 184 Merri Street will be closed Mondays from November 29 as the region passed the 95 per cent double-dose rate this week.
It will continue to operate as normal Tuesday to Saturday from 9am to 4.30pm.

Debate on the Public Health and Wellbeing Amendment (Pandemic Management) Bill began in the upper house on Tuesday afternoon and went well into the night.
It is on hold until Wednesday as the chamber deals with non-government business but it is expected to resume on Thursday.
