Saints coach Chris McLaren has revealed Clem Nagorcka and Todd White would play for Geelong-based teams in 2022.
The duo, who both live in the city, had been travelling down to play in the Hampden league throughout 2021.
McLaren said the club supported their decision and wished them well.
They want to have a crack up there which is something we encourage and support. They'll hopefully always come back someday.

"Clemmy and Todd have lived in Geelong for a few years now," he said.
"It's been a process we've worked through with both the boys. They've been training with GFL clubs up there and coming home to play.
"They want to have a crack up there which is something we encourage and support. They'll hopefully always come back someday."
McLaren said retention had otherwise been positive despite two coronavirus-impacted seasons. The Victoria Park-based club added ruckman Harry Crone to its list across the past weekend in a boost to its tall stocks.
IN OTHER NEWS:
"Outside those two boys, retention looks really strong which is pleasing," the multiple premiership coach said.
"There's no doubt the past two seasons have been disappointing for everyone. Obviously (2020) was wiped out totally and this season we were in a strong position to challenge again.
"Our boys are just as determined as ever to make sure we're there somewhere near the end."
The Saints started pre-season on Monday night. McLaren said the senior group would integrate with the club's under 23 Let's Talk Cup outfit pre-Christmas.
