A Powercor spokesman says the electricity company has restored power to Warrnambool and south-west Victorian customers after the violent storms late last week.
"We thank all customers for their patience as our crews have worked to restore power following last week's storm," he said.
"There may be some single-property faults still affecting power to some customers.
"If customers have checked their main switchboard and are still without power, they should contact us as soon as possible on 13 24 12."
The storms overnight last Thursday cut power to thousands of home across the south-west.
Saturday: POWERCOR is expecting to restore electricity to most customers by later today.
Crews have worked through the night and are on the ground today repairing poles and wires damaged by fallen trees and branches during Thursday night's wild weather.
As of 9.45am on Saturday there were 1234 households in Warrnambool still without power and 186 in Terang.
There are now 12,252 customers remaining without power across the two networks of Powercor and CitiPower, which was down from a peak of 187,000 yesterday morning.
Of those customers, 11,915 are in the Powercor network and 325 are in CitiPower.
Powercor has warned there is a possibility that a small number of customers may be without power supply until tomorrow.
"This has been a difficult situation for many of our customers and we do thank them for their patience as we work to repair the damage and restore power safely," a statement noted.
"We will continue updating estimated restoration times at www.powercor.com.au and through our contact centre.
"If people do see a fallen powerline, they should always stay well away from them and report them to us immediately on 13 24 12."
