Big Mus is heading to the cattle sales and given his extraordinary size, he is sure to attract attention.
Ms Read measured Big Mus before his departure from her farm, with the tape showing he stood just short of six foot.
"I think he'd be one of the biggest steers around here, it will be interesting to see what he weighs," she said.
