"This person is in isolation in the Portland area and under the management of the appropriate Infectious Disease Department and public health teams, who will also be undertaking contact tracing to ascertain any close contacts and any exposure sites."
As yet no new public exposure sites have been identified.
The spokeswoman said PDH was not aware if the new case was linked to the two individuals from the Melbourne region.
"The public health unit working with these two people have informed us that, at this stage, all close contacts in Portland and Melbourne have been identified and have been contacted for testing. There have been no tier 1 exposure sites identified and listed," she said.
