A new COVID-19 case has been recorded in Moyne Shire overnight.
The case is linked to existing cases in the area, South West Healthcare said on Friday.
It follows a new COVID case identified in Glenelg Shire late last night - an essential work contractor from the Melbourne area who was working in the region.
Portland District Health said there was no further update regarding the new case.
"We are not aware of any further concerning factors, such as exposure sites. As we receive further updates we will share this information with the community," PDH said on Friday afternoon.
"We thank the community for their support and encourage anyone with COVID symptoms such as fever, dry cough and tiredness to isolate and get tested as soon as possible and for all our community to keep up your social distancing and hand hygiene."
There are now 11 active COVID-19 cases in the region across four municipalities: zero in Warrnambool, six active cases in Moyne Shire across two households, two active cases in Corangamite across two households. One COVID-19 case has been removed from the Corangamite tally due to the individual residing out of the area.
South West Healthcare is monitoring two people with COVID-19 in Moyne Shire and two in Corangamite Shire as part of its remote patient monitoring program.
These cases are all close contacts of the original source case from the Colac area.
Other people in isolation as close contacts are being monitored by the Barwon Public Health Unit. SWH is unable to confirm these numbers.
Covid coordinator Sue Anderton said the people being monitoring are stable and are being managed collaboratively between SWH, Barwon Public Health Unit and Department of Health.
In the Glenelg Shire there remains three active cases across one household, as well as the new unlinked case overnight. The new case is no longer included in the numbers as the individual resides out of area.
There have been no new exposure sites listed overnight.
Yesterday there were 90 tests completed across the Camperdown Leura Oval testing clinic and the Warrnambool testing clinic.
The Leura Oval drive through testing clinic at Camperdown is open today from 3:30pm-4:30pm.
South West Healthcare will monitor this clinic and update the community regarding testing availability in coming days.
The COVID testing clinic at Merri Street is open 8am - 4pm by appointment only.
"If in doubt, please get tested," South West Healthcare said.
"Thank you for doing the right thing to keep our community safe and, for your ongoing support."
