Warrnambool RSL's Adam Kent said the key feature of this year's event, held from October 16 to 24, was to get moving and connect with new and known veterans and their families.
He said there were 700 activities held nationwide this week.
"Here in Warrnambool we had a free virtual cooking class, a Zumba class and on Tuesday we had a casual walk with about a dozen of us who walked down and around Middle Island," Mr Kent said.
"It's been less about the activity and more about making those connections with your community."
Tuesday's walk included author Maria Augustus-Dunn and her husband and veteran Brad, as well as local veteran Christopher Rantall, who recently suffered serious injuries in a skydiving accident, and his wife Berni.
On Saturday, RSL Active will hold a free virtual personal training session with Ash Dyson from Warrnambool's Snap Fitness.
Mr Kent said Warrnambool RSL had initiated the PT sessions at the start of the coronavirus pandemic and that Saturday's event was open to anyone in the community.
"The silver lining of COVID is that we've connected virtually with people from all over the state," he said.
"On Monday night when I got on the Zoom cooking class, there were probably 20 to 25 people from all over Victoria and I knew 15 of them.
"We want to get even more people involved by inviting them to the PT session on Saturday morning."
Mr Kent said those interested should keep an eye out on RSL Active Warrnambool's Facebook page.
