Hampden league's Portland, North Warrnambool Eagles, South West District's Tyrendarra, Coleraine, Heywood and Mininera and District's Moyston-Willaura will receive up to $10,000 from the Transport Accident Commission's (TAC) Club Rewards Program.
The program is aimed at rewarding clubs that promoted road safety throughout the season.
The rewards will be a welcome boost to clubs following a second straight season severely impacted by the COVID pandemic, which has also limited opportunities for clubs to raise funds.
"Clubs, participants and volunteers will benefit tremendously, with the financial boost made all-the-more important given the challenges so many clubs and communities have faced in the past 18 months," Head of AFL Victoria Brad Scott said.

Minister for Roads and Road Safety Ben Carroll echoed Scott's thoughts.
"This program is an opportunity to support clubs and reward them for their dedication to promoting road safety and keeping their members and the community safe on our roads." he said.
AFL Victoria-affiliated clubs were able to apply for the program by showing their support to road safety throughout the season, including taking part in TAC campaigns.
North Warrnambool Eagles co-president Pat Doran said the club, which has had members of its community impacted by Victoria's road toll, had participated in a number of initiatives to raise awareness on road safety in the past.
The Eagles were part of the Hampden league's TAC round, hosted presentations for all their members and also conducted vehicle check and road safety programs, which are aimed at the their younger football and netball players, throughout the season.
Doran said there were two or three projects at the club where the funding received from the rewards program could be utilised to the greater benefit of the community.
