Brothers Andrew and Josh Pepper have returned to Melville Oval in a major boost for the Hampden league club's bid to snap a near decade-long finals drought.
Waldron, who was appointed as Gerard FitzGerald's successor in August, said the brothers would add a layer of class after stints away from the Kangaroos.
Andrew has plied his trade at Geelong Football League outfit Leopold while Josh has spent the past two seasons at South West District league club Branxholme-Wallacedale.
It's that growth from within that we always talk about up here. Guys just have to have a connection to the club to get recruits these days.
- Hamish Waldron
Waldron said the duo would fill vital roles for the blue and white.
"Andrew will play for us through the midfield, I reckon he'll spend a lot of time there," Waldron said.
"Josh will swing from forward to back - he's pretty versatile which is really handy for us."
The first-year coach said he was delighted to welcome the pair back to the ranks.
The brothers' father, John, was a long-term chairman and respected figure at the Hampden league expansion club.
"It's that growth from within that we always talk about up here. Guys just have to have a connection to the club to get recruits these days," Waldron said.
"It's makes it hard to draw them otherwise."
Andrew will be based in Geelong and travel to play while Josh is based in Hamilton.
Waldron said more recruiting was underway in a bid to strengthen the list.
