The Turbines will start their quest for a second division title in their second season when the Athletics Victoria Shield League kicks off on November 13.
The club has formally joined the Geelong region and will compete out of John Landy Athletics Field this season.
President Jeremy Dixon said the club was offering cheap, cost-effective membership options for new and existing members.
"We have a barrier in terms of location and travel... the Geelong region provides us with a bit more infrastructure and support which is really exciting and a positive outcome," he said.
"We acknowledge there is travel and there is a commitment involved and we have worked hard to reduce as many financial barriers as possible.
"We've worked with Athletics Victoria on some regional pricing so it's discounted to metro-based pricing as well as a new member pricing."
The club's committee is also supporting members by covering entry fees for AV events such as country, multi event, state and national championships.
"The club wants to reduce any barriers to participation and any extra financial burden and has created a suite of financial support our athletes to compete at those various championships," Dixon said.
The Inner Speed and Power coach said it was positive to have a start date for the season and now the club's athletes have a goal to work towards.
Dixon said the club was eager to attract athletes of all levels and abilities to join its ranks this season. He hoped the Turbines could have around 30 active members this summer.

He confirmed three new members had already joined.
In the AVSL, athletes can compete in a variety of track and field events weekly.
They can also compete at various venues around the state and still contribute to the club's weekly score, which helps the Turbines accumulate points to qualify for the AVSL shield final at the end of the season.
