St Patrick's Primary School in Camperdown has thanked the community for it's support and understanding after a Tier 1 exposure site was identified at the school.
The message of thanks was via the school's Facebook page which said they will update the community on when the school can re-open after receiving advice from Barwon Health.

ST PATRICK'S Primary School in Camperdown has been identified as a COVID-19 Tier 1 exposure site.
According to South West Healthcare the site has been identified by the Barwon South West Public Health Unit and has notified the Department of Health.
The exposure site is the grade one area at the school and the exposure period is Wednesday, October 13 from 8am till 4pm.
This Tier 1 area relates to all children, teachers and other staff in the specific classroom between the hours on October 13.
The impacted people are those who were present in the grade one area during the listed times.
Anyone who attended this area should get tested and follow the instructions provided. They should isolate immediately until tested and do not visit anywhere.
Those who attend a Tier 1 site should isolate for 14 days, regardless of the result or unless advised differently from the public health unit.
There have been no new cases of COVID-19 identified overnight in the region. However, one new case was identified in the Colac region and this positive case attended the exposure site listed above.
The total number of confirmed active cases in the south-west region is five across the four shires.

0 active cases in Warrnambool
2 active cases in Moyne across 2 households
0 active cases in Corangamite (case related to exposure site resides in Colac)
The Glenelg cluster remains at three active cases across one household.

The Leura Oval drive through testing clinic at Camperdown has been opened today 9:30am till 5pm and Tuesday 8am till 4pm.
South West Healthcare will monitor this site and update the community regarding testing availability in coming days.
The COVID testing clinic at Merri Street is open 8am till 4pm. This clinic is only available via booking.
