There were nine auctions across Warrnambool and Koroit on Friday night and Saturday with one property setting a new record in a Warrnambool residential street.
The three-bedroom home on Smith Avenue sold for $866,000 at an online auction on Friday night. It broke the previous record with a house on the same street selling for $747,000 in March.
Harris and Wood's Danny Harris said it was one of most hotly contested auctions of the year.
A three-bedroom, double-storey terrace also went under the hammer on Saturday with the property at Bayview Terrace selling for $575,000.
Mr Harris said the auction was an "intimate affair" with 10 people plus the agents allowed to attend given the current COVID restrictions. He said both properties were bought by Melbourne investors who viewed the properties online and had building inspections prior to the auctions.
Meanwhile seven other properties were auctioned with a three bedroom home on Fairway Crescent in Warrnambool selling for $710,000. Bidding at the auction opened at $500,000 with four bidders vying for the property.
A three-bedroom house in Davis Street, Warrnambool sold for $606,000 to a local buyer and a four-bedroom house on Merrivale Drive sold for $520,000 at an online auction on Saturday.

A three-bedroom house on the Koroit-Port Fairy Road in Koroit sold for $625,000 with four local bidders involved and a five-bedroom house on Commercial Place in Koroit sold for an undisclosed price.
Ray White director Fergus Torpy said there were positives across the board with the successful auctions attracting multiple and active bidders and a good combination of local buyers involved.
"It's a super busy weekend but we're anticipating that is going to be fairly consistent until the end of the year," he said.
"I think we've got another 20 auctions lined up for November, so that'll be between four and five auctions each weekend in November."
