South West Healthcare said there have been no local exposure sites identified with the case and no other new cases in the region.

The DHHS listed another positive in Moyne Shire on Thursday afternoon.

A Warrnambool person recorded what SWH said was considered likely to be a false positive and has since been re-tested and recorded a negative result.

The Warrnambool-Moyne COVID-19 cluster is now at seven cases across the two municipalities and six households, down from a peak of 25.

In Warrnambool 10 people have recovered from COVID-19, with three remaining active cases across three households.

There are four active cases in Moyne Shire across three households associated with the cluster.

The Corangamite Shire has been cleared of COVID-19 after the last positive individual recovered.

The Glenelg cluster remains at three active cases across one household.

There are no new exposure sites in Portland and surrounds.

Update Wednesday, 5pm: The Public Health Unit is investigating a COVID-19 case identified in Moyne Shire overnight.

The case has been listed on the DHHS website but no further details are available at this stage, South West Healthcare said.

It brings the active cases in Moyne to five.

The case was identified in postcode 3283, which encompasses Crossley, Killarney, Kirkstall, Southern Cross, Tarrone, Tower Hill, Warrong, Willatook, Yangery and Yarpturk.

The total of the current Warrnambool and Moyne cluster is now at 17, down from a peak of 25.

A further two people have recovered from COVID-19 in Warrnambool, which now has 13 active cases across four households. There are four active cases in Moyne Shire associated with this cluster across three households, and zero active cases now in Corangamite Shire after the remaining infected person recovered.

Update, 2pm: There are no exposure sites in the Portland region linked to the current COVID-19 cluster.

The Barwon South West Public Health Unit said the three cases, all from the same household, have not yielded any exposure sites but encouraged the community to continue to get tested.

There will be only one testing clinic location tomorrow, Thursday October 14, at the drive through fever clinic at Portland District Health from 10am - 4pm.

This will be reviewed as needed and the community notified.

"Our best defence for our community is for vaccinations - the latest appointment information will be circulated this afternoon.

"To stop the spread of COVID-19: don't visit anyone in their homes or let anyone into your home if they don't live there, limit how much you move around the community, social distance and keep up your hand hygiene.

"If in doubt, please get tested."

There were no new cases of COVID-19 identified in Warrnambool, Moyne and Corangamite overnight.

It marks the seventh day in a row of zero new cases identified across the three municipalities.

The total of the current Warrnambool and Moyne cluster is now at 17, down from a peak of 25.

More cases are expected to be cleared in the coming days, South West Healthcare said on Wednesday.

"It is good to see that we now have a decreasing number of active cases as people reach their 14 day isolation period and are cleared by the Public Health Unit."
