Lines stretching hundreds of metres are overwhelming the asymptomatic testing site established yesterday at Friendly Societies' Park as hundreds of south-west residents come forward to get tested.
The site opened at 8am, with reports queues began as early as 7am, and will remain in operation until 10pm tonight. It will be open 8am to 10pm on Sunday.
It follows confirmation yesterday by South West Healthcare a positive COVID-19 case had travelled through the south-west and into Warrnambool.
