Kirkstall's Natasha and Andrew McMahon have four children - twins Oliver and Grace, 10, son Edmund, 7, and daughter Annie, 4.

Mrs McMahon is a one-eyed Western Bulldogs fan - a tradition she carried on after her grandfather Frank Harris passed away.

"He was a one-eyed Footscray fan," she said.

Mrs McMahon said her late grandfather would be stoked his team was in the grand final.

However, Mr McMahon is a devout Melbourne fan.

When the couple found out they were pregnant, they decided their firstborn would be a Demons supporter and the second would be a Bulldogs fan.

The couple was in luck - with twins giving them each one in their corner.

"After that it ended up being boys versus girls," Mrs McMahon said.

She said there was a lot of excitement and friendly ribbing in their house about the grand final.

"There's a lot of talk going on - for example you're not allowed to touch certain things if you barrack for a certain team," Mrs McMahon laughed.

There is also a lot of speculation about what team their six sheep and dog barrack for.

Mrs McMahon said she was considering setting up a second television on grand final day in case the opposing supporters need some space.

"Everyone's very excited," she said. "I just hope it's a close match."

The match will be held at Perth's Optus Stadium on Saturday, September 25.
