Outdoor matches could be a possibility for some of Warrnambool City Netball Association's competitions if government coronavirus restrictions ease, according to administrator Marg Morgan.

Under current restrictions imposed on regional Victoria teams are allowed to train outdoors but play is not. Both indoor practice and competition is outlawed.
WCNA's teams don't usually train, opting to just play their scheduled matches during the week.
Morgan said if competition returns for outside sports it would consider moving some of the WNCA's competitions onto the outdoor courts at its Caramut Road home.
"Some of our options if we are allowed back to community sport in the near future is playing outdoors like we did last year for the Christmas Cup," she said.

"This season has already started and hopefully we can continue it outside until we're allowed to go back inside.
"We are happy to see which way the ball bounces but it is about trying to be ready and being able to give people the chance to play however we need to to make it happen."
Morgan said the association was staying in contact with all of its teams to gauge what they'd like to do in terms of returning to play.
WNCA has NetSetGO, all-abilities and junior programs. It also has junior (Tuesday and Wednesday grades), ladies and mixed competitions.
