The new station is under construction on the Princes Highway and will replace the current undersized location the brigade currently works out of in James Street.
Included in the footprint of the new station will be three tanker bays, male and female changerooms, a kitchen, a meeting room and storage.
Port Fairy CFA captain Hugh Worrall said construction was progressing well.
"The project is on schedule and it should be completed by early to mid November," Mr Worrall said.
"The whole process has gone really well so far. As CFA members we have had input, we have on-site meetings each fortnight to keep us in the picture."
