The Magpies will regain key stopper Brendan Richardson for Saturday's clash with North Warrnambool Eagles.
Half-back flanker Angus Gordon underwent a fitness test on Thursday night but passed to retain his spot in the side.
Richardson will return to the side after missing this past week due to injury. Ethan Coates will make way.
Greater Melbourne-based duo Judah Dundon, Jack Williams and Jason Robinson, all of which are vital cogs in the Magpies' machine, will miss out again due to the state capital's ongoing COVID-19 lockdown.
It's just about having fun, I reckon. We just want to go out there and enjoy it because we can't make finals.
- Mitch Bidmade
Magpies coach Neville Swayn said Richardson was a welcome inclusion. He said the experienced defender would add to a back line which conceded 128 points to South Warrnambool this past Saturday.
"He's a key defender for us and is just a super player. It's a real bonus for us," he said.
Despite conceding 20 goals, the Magpies piled on 15 of their own to highlight their scoring proficiency.
Koroit coach Chris McLaren has recalled Jayden Whitehead for the Saints first-versus-third battle against South Warrnambool after strong form in the reserve grade. Taylor Mckenry will make way.
McLaren said Whitehead's return was a good lesson for all players.
"You just never know," he said.
"It depends how and why but it could be a final or the last home-and-away game of the season. It's hard as a reserves player but we rate Jayden really highly.
"He's just had a couple of super players in his position. It's really good to give him another opportunity."
Portland, meanwhile, has included Ty Deans and Josh Jenner for its clash with Warrnambool. Captain Daniel Jackson (ankle) and forward Kyle Richardson (finger) are the outs.
Tigers coach Jarrod Holt said Richardson, who has provided a strong forward option in 2021, would miss the remainder of the season after undergoing surgery this past week.
He said Jenner, who has been deployed off half-back and as an onballer, was a key inclusion.

"He'd spent a bit of time working in Mount Gambier but he's been back here now for a while so he's right to play," Holt said.
"He's been really good for us. He hasn't played for a long time so it's probably good he gets a game in before finals."
"We were hoping to get Nath Valori back this week but he hurt his knee and we found out he'd actually done his ACL."
Holt expected Jackson's injury to be a one-week prospect.
Warrnambool will regain full-back James Chittick, Tom Ludeman and debut utility Ethan Boyd while Brad Bull and Louis O'Connor (shoulders) and James Keen (under 18s) drop out.
Blues coach Ben Parkinson said Boyd was a worthy debutant after impressing in junior grades.
"He's come right along for us," Parkinson said. "He's probably been out of position over the past month too. The under 18s ruckman got hurt and he's been playing there.
"He's got good skills and fitness and has been doing a good job. He's still growing as well.
"He'll be fine. We'll chuck him on a wing and give him a taste."
Cobden will draft in Ryleigh McVilly to its ranks as it pursues a winning end to a frustrating season.
Brady Green has come out.
Bombers coach Adam Courtney said Cobden was "playing to win" despite the fact finals were out of the question.
The Bombers have been injury-ravaged in 2021 and have struggled to get their best side on the park.
"You play senior sport to win and that's our objective. We want to get out there and finish the season on a high note," he said.
IN OTHER NEWS:
"Obviously both our seniors and reserves got beaten down there last time so we want to turn that around with a win."
Hamilton Kangaroos coach Gerard FitzGerald said he had several players under an injury cloud and would have a clearer picture come of his starting side come Friday. He said players would undertake fitness tests on Thursday night with final decisions to made on Friday.
Terang Mortlake mentor Ben Kenna has drafted in Jimmy Moloney and Toby Harris to replace veteran Nathan Murphy (unavailable) and Lachie Wareham (shoulder).
"Jimmy is a midfielder-forward type who has played the majority of the time in the seniors and will get another opportunity at it while Toby is probably a similar player," he said.
"He's had a couple of knee reconstructions so it's been a long time coming for him."
