There's the almost mandatory marine wind warning, as well as a sheep graziers alert and in addition a severe weather warning for small parts of the south-west - focusing on the Otways.
A cold front will cross Victoria on Tuesday morning, with an associated low moving through Bass Strait during Tuesday afternoon and evening, increasing wind strengths across far southern Victoria.
Sheep farmers are warned that cold temperatures, rain, showers and westerly winds are expected during Tuesday and Wednesday. There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.
The bureau is tipping damaging winds, averaging 60 to 70 km/h with peak gusts of around 90 km/h are possible about parts of the Otways from mid Tuesday afternoon, extending to the Bass Coast, Wilsons Promontory and the Strzelecki Ranges from early Tuesday evening.
For the rest of the south-west it will be cloudy with a very high (95 per cent) chance of showers.
There's also the likelihood of a thunderstorm during the morning and afternoon, with possible hail in the late morning and afternoon.
Winds will be north-westerly 15 to 20 km/h turning south-westerly 25 to 40 km/h in the middle of the day.
A low pressure system will pass to the south of Victoria today, as an associated cold front crosses eastern parts of the state this morning.
The low will move away to the east of Tasmania on Wednesday morning, as a high builds over southern Western Australia.
The high will slowly move eastwards over the next few days and will lie over South Australia on Friday.
In Warrnambool at 7am it was 6.4 degrees, felt like 1.9 and since 9am yesterday we've had 5.8mm of rain.
Warrnambool is expecting a top of 12 degrees, Hamilton 10, Colac 11, Ararat 10, Casterton 11, Mortlake 11, Heywood 11, Portland 12, Port Fairy 12, Terang 11 and Camperdown 10.
From Wednesday to Saturday Warrnambool has got a 90 per cent chance of showers each day with tops of about 14 or 15 degrees.
