After a cool start, today will be sunny, with top temperatures around the district expected to between 14 and 16 degrees.
There's a chance of showers this evening and even a thunderstorm later tonight, with winds northerly 25 to 40 km/h.
At 7.30am Monday it was 4.5 degrees in Warrnambool, felt like 0.4 and since 9am yesterday we've had 2mm of rain.
Warrnambool is expecting a top temperature of 16 degrees, Hamilton 15, Colac 14, Ararat 14, Casterton 16, Mortlake 16, Heywood 15, Portland 16, Port Fairy 16, Terang 15 and Camperdown 14.
A ridge of high pressure will move over the Tasman Sea today while a low pressure system moves over waters south of the Bight.
This low will move to the south-west of Victoria on Monday, then to the east of Tasmania on Tuesday, as an associated cold front crosses Victoria.
Tuesday will be very different.
It will be cloudy with a 95 per cent chance of showers.
There's a chance of a thunderstorm in the late morning and afternoon and possible small hail, mainly in the west.
Winds will be north to north-westerly 15 to 25 km/h turning westerly 25 to 40 km/h during the morning.
Overnight temperatures will fall to around 6 with daytime top temperatures reaching around 10 degrees.
Expect some weather warnings .
For the rest of the week, through to and including Saturday, there are showers tipped with tops around 14 degrees.
