Meanwhile, Warrnambool Rangers are keen to play each side twice in the Ballarat and District Soccer Association (BDSA).
The soccer competitions will resume this weekend after state government coronavirus restrictions eased on Tuesday night.
Community sport is back on for all ages but is limited to the minimum number of people required to participate in and facilitate the activity. Spectators are not allowed.

Hodson explained the association had consulted with clubs about the way forward.
He said the association wanted its finals dates for both juniors and seniors the same.
"We definitely wanted to keep the 12th and 19th of September down as the dates for preliminary and grand finals," he said.
The last time the seniors played a regular round was round 10 on July 11.
Round 13 is scheduled for this Sunday but Hodson explained the association was making amendments to ensure each senior side played each other twice this season.
He added there would likely be extra senior matches played during the week or Saturday night.
"We'll be doing some make-up games so everyone plays each other the same number of times," he said of the eight-team competition.
The plan remains to finish the regular senior season with round 17 on August 29.
The juniors, of which there is under 12, 14 and 16, haven't played a regular round since June 20. There were some make-up games played since then.
Hodson explained each age group would be managed individually as they had a different number of teams. The under 16s has four, the under 14s has five and the under 12s has seven.
The secretary said the aim was to keep the junior fixtures as close to what they originally were as possible.
The BDSA is back this weekend as well with Warrnambool Rangers's division one men's team set to take on Horsham at Jones Oval on Sunday in round 15 - as per the original fixture.
President and senior coach Cam Pyke explained the Rangers had missed four matches this season due to coronavirus lockdowns.
Pyke explained the BDSA senior coaches had a discussion last week about extending the season into October. The grand final is usually played in mid-September.
He said they discussed aspects such as logistics and ground availability and put their ideas forward to the association.
Pyke said the Rangers were keen for the season to be extended.
"We hope we can get every single game in the season played to allow it to be balanced where everyone plays each other twice," he said.
He highlighted the Rangers were yet to play Sebastopol this season.
The Vikings are the top team and the Rangers are second on the table.
