Warrnambool Breastfeeding Centre vice president Barb Glare said the charity's annual online auction raised a record $10,370 for the service.
Last year's auction raised $8000. Funds help with the cost of running the centre which provides breast feeding support and a range of services for parents and families.
Ms Glare said she was humbled by businesses support and it was their main fundraiser.
"It's a hard time for all the businesses, Ms Glare said. "We approached businesses who've donated really quite generously and no-one thought that we were going to get another lockdown right now.

"It's really good people have been prepared to support us in an already tough time.
"We really appreciate it," she said. "Even during lockdown, we probably got about another 20 donations. Even in the last few weeks before it ended, which is pretty amazing."
Ms Glare said the auction had also helped to raise businesses profiles and showcase the array of products and services they offered.
She urged the public to get behind businesses who supported the auction and said she would be patronising each of the restaurants and cafes to say thank you.
"I've got a little circuit planned. I won't be cooking dinner for a month and I think a lot of people on the committee will do something similar," Ms Glare said.
She said business operators recognised the important role the centre played in the community.
"We're pretty embedded in the CBD now and people are getting to know us, and getting more familiar with what our aims and goals are."
