The show will have a team of correspondents based around Australia, with Rose bringing viewers the latest in music and Bickmore reading the news.Channel 10 said in a statement that The 7PM Project would combine current affairs and humour but not in a satirical format similar to American comedian Jon Stewart."While it's not afraid to be serious, The 7PM Project can guarantee that there will be no miracle diets, no stories that no parent can afford to miss, and virtually no dodgy plumbers," it read.Channel Ten has enjoyed success in the 7pm timeslot this year with programs such as MasterChef Australia rating well. Hughes, 39, has been a recurring face on Channel 10 for the past few years as a panellist for football show Before the Game and variety program Rove.
